layters asked: Why is it that you seem more interested in syncing up the comics to Marvel movies more than x-men, spider-mam etc. i mean we seem to be getting a Peterson Deathlock a bit character in SHIELD but yet no appearances by Blink or Warpath. Also why would there not necessarily be a Gambit movie to tie into a film when there will no doubt be a Ant Man one? Also any comic plans for Peggy Carter?

We’re more readily able to synch up our plans with the Marvel movies rather than the Fox or Sony movies because we know what’s actually in them a lot sooner, and in a lot greater detail. Nobody over here has any more idea of what’s in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST than you do—which makes doing stuff to coordinate difficult.
And I think the difference between a Gambit movie and an Ant-Man movie is that the Ant-Man movie is most definitely getting made, work has already begun on it—whereas the chatter about a Gambit movie is the latest in a long string of chatter about X-movies (Deadpool, X-Force, Magneto) that never seem to materialize. So one’s a lock, whereas the other is just a possibility.
And Peggy Carter is dead.
